Time Deli
On the way home the other week from Race Street Seafood Kitchen, I spotted a sign that said "Tri-Tip sandwich every day!" Intrigued, I decided to try Time Deli off of South Bascom Avenue in San Jose, for lunch.
My sandwich came with a cup of minestrone soup. Unfortunately I wasn't impressed with my meal... the tri-tip meat was thinly sliced and kinda dry. Even with the BBQ sauce it seemed to lack in the flavor department. The sandwich was rather disappointing compared to other tri-tip I've eaten before, i.e Porter Street BBQ in Sonoma and even Texas Smoke-house BBQ in San Jose. My soup was tasty and fresh with lots of veggies and pasta, then again its pretty hard to mess up minestrone soup. Overall, the meal wasn't worth the price paid, and I'm less than likely to eat here again.
